I have bought a lot from this and other similar online shops. I have no problem with products mostly good some ordinary, but i do have a problem with their returns. The other majors are able to accept returns and process within 3-5 days. I have only tried to return 2 things and to buy invite. The first time i had to end up ringing them after 3 weeks. I have now returned a faulty article and although after 2 weeks i emailed and received a reply they have still not refunded over 3 weeks after returning article. They have a policy of processing refund in 10 days (which still seems excessive compared to others) but they can still not meet this promised deadline. This will reduce the amount i spend with them in the future

Buy invite was unable to supply one item to me and promise a refund in 10 working days. I'm still waiting for my refund, 10 days has gone and no refund.

Beware before placing your order with Buy Invite. They do not answer your email or refund your money.

Thank you so much for this blog - as I have not been able to contact buy invite had someone not put the phone number up. I had been using buyinvite for awhile and there has been no problems until recently. The issue being that i bought a handbag and have not received it. to cut a long story short the issue is that my account details stated that it had been despatched. When I finally got in contact with buy invite today they told me that the product never arrived to them and I was emailed on 19 October to advise me. Funny I never recieved that email but still seem to receive daily offer emails from them. I also find it interesting that the day I called (today) they advised money is being refunded today - but will take 3 -5 days for my bank to clear. I will be watching this closely to see this happens over the next 5 days obvioulsy.

I have bought from this site a couple of times as have my family members- no problem so far. Yes, the items do take a while to arrive but this is explained clearly in their terms and conditions if people actually bothered to read this.

each morning when i arrive to work, there it is an email from buyinvite with a link to their latest sales. I have purchased dozens of items from this website and have had no bad experiences, yes i have brougth shoes, wallets, scarves, watches jewelery, lego's, boxing bag set,and the list goes on. The delivery is exceptionally cheap and as long as you actually read the delivery time frame you will be aware that they will take up to 4 weeks. There is no false promises there! I lvoe your work buyinvite and look forward to many more purchases!!
Disappointing refund policy

I bought a pair of expensive pants which did not fit. I returned them immediately and was very disappointed to find buy invite would only offer a store credit. Considering I'll never shop with them again - I was very upset. I consider the garment not fitting a major problem - it wasn't like I changed my mind. If anyone has any ideas on how I could get a refund - I'd be very glad to hear.
Buyinvite Mystery Box

Most dissappointed in the contents of my "Womens Accessories" mystery box. Picked it up yesterday (quick postage). Contained a red scarf with RRP Tag of $4.95, 2 wooden rings which are tiny, witha price tage of $5 each, and a pale grey plastic belt. No idea the price of the belt but seeing as the box cost $40 plus postage, and I was meant to save at least $40, the belt must be valued at $65. Doesn't look any more that $5 worth to me and I will never wear it. Same for the ugly wooden rings. Safe to say I won't be shopping with this group again.
Terrible Business

Annoyed Customer
Overinflated prices - Shoes that had a RRP of $79.95 one month, were shown as having a RRP of $99.95 a month later (that's pretty big inflation).
Dodgy products - That same pair of $99.95 shoes, started coming unglued within one month.
Terrible Customer Service - They would not give me a refund, as they stated that the shoes were wrecked from 'general wear and tear'. Would not budge, would not reevaluate, Customer relations did nothing.
Worst online store I have experienced

Buyers beware, my experience is similar to those I've read above.
Bought shoes online. One month later I finally got through, after trying to call numerous times with no success, and was told that they hadn't received the item from the distributor. How they can advertise and sell items they don't actually have is beyond me.
Bad customer service

My order 464264 has not even been dispatched after 3.5 weeks. I tried to email but their server continually rejected my messages. I was forced to ring (at interstate call rates - no freecall) & after 15 minutes waiting I chose the option for new business. Amazingly, the call was answered immediately, but this person abruptly terminated the call when she heard my problem & diverted me to the voicemail of "Jessica". I left a message but I now have no faith in buyinvite's customer service.

It seems that they are eager for new business but are happy to neglect their existing customers who have paid in good faith & received nothing in return.

Not good enough!!!

Very bad experience with BuyInvite

Bad experience
BEWARE of BuyInvite everyone!!!
I bought a pair of shoes off them and they took my money immediately. Over a month later, got an email to tell me that my item was dispatched. Then a week after that I got another email telling me that they couldn't supply me the shoes because there was a problem with their supplier and my money would be refunded. After a few more days, another email arrived telling me that they had made the refund but the amount didn't match what they took from my card. It was less postage and credit card fee. I still have not got a good explanation from them how can things go so wrong and why I am paying for their mistake. I am seriously thinking of reporting them to the authorities.
My best advise to everyone is to buy from www.brandsexclusive.com.au instead.

Bought shoes from them but two days later they informed that due to some mistake in stock calculations, they will not be able to deliver them. Wasted 45 minutes. No compensation or store credit.
Also, they NEVER acknowledge feedback or reply to questions.

buyinvite shopper
i am a member of the website buyinvite.com.au.
they regularly have very good offers.
however, i was very disappointed to learn that they do bait advertising, i.e. deliberately inflate the advertised discount. they say "up to x% off" RRP for a certain brand but then i noticed there is actually no product for that discount. they are probably not big enough for the ACCC to bother but still not very ethical to trick your customers.

I am your average garden variety online shopper who lives in a rural area. I have shopped on this site once, twice, three times a month over the last 6 months and love it. Postage can take 2-3 weeks from the time of sale end but this is stated in the sales information. Postage is very reasonable and items are extremely well packaged. Every experience has been a good one. Any communication via email has been promptly responded to.
Thankyou for a great service. I would be looking at considerably greater expense and a 130 km round trip to purchase similar items 'locally'.

It appears some not so positive reviews of buyinvite.com.au have been removed from messages posted on this article? I think this is unfair - potential customers have the right to read about the experiences (either good or bad - in this case more bad) others have had with this company!
